Clean and disinfect the face and neck, take the sterile head out of the package and screw it on the syringe.

Place the syringe vertically on the skin by lightly pressing the plunger to inject the serum directly into the epidermis.

Cleanse and disinfect the skin of the face and neck and extract the sterile head from the package and screw it on the syringe.
Remove the cap on the head that protects the micro-needles and press the plunger of the syringe until you see the serum coming out of the needles.
Gently and vertically place the syringe on the skin with gentle pressure and press the plunger gently without reaching the bottom to avoid injecting too much serum as it is not recommended.
Repeat the operation on the areas indicated in the package leaflet.

Can I wear makeup immediately after the B-SELFIE DEEP treatment?

NO: For the first 24 hours avoid the application of make-up products, especially foundation and powder products. The intraepidermal application through the micro-needles present on the sterile applicator is a minimally invasive procedure that induces controlled lesions that trigger a skin response, characterized by the release of growth factors that lead to the synthesis of a new tissue rich in collagen. After treatment with B-SELFIE DEEP, presenting the skin of micro-lesions caused by repeated puncture of micro-needles, it is not recommended to apply any make-up product as micro-holes would be occluded by such substances and infections may occur. It’s important that the skin breathes and regenerates properly until fully healed.

Can I apply my cream immediately after the B-SELFIE DEEP treatment?

NO: Skincare products such as creams or serums other than B-SELFIE products are not recommended because not knowing the formulation could interact negatively.

How long do the treatment results last?

The treatment is consolidated after 3/4 days from the first application and is kept for several weeks depending on the type of skin, its condition, and its hydration. To keep the skin in good condition, about the tone, elasticity, hydration, and brightness, repeat the treatment after 30 days and then every 60 days. For particularly asphyxiated, dehydrated skin and in the presence of deep wrinkles, repeat the second treatment at 7-10 days and, subsequently, every 30 days.

Why only one head with micro-needles if there are two syringes? Can I use the same head with micro-needles for subsequent treatments?

A single B-SELFIE DEEP intraepidermal treatment involves using both syringes at once. The amount of serum contained in the two syringes is sufficient to treat the face, neck, and décolleté areas in a complete manner. Once the content of the first syringe runs out, the applicator with micro-needles must be mounted immediately on the other syringe to continue treatment. 

If properly carried out the treatment, then should not advance product. In the event that the product is left over, and you want to use it later, in the package in addition to the applicator with micro-needles, there is a nozzle applicator for topical application. It is contraindicated to reuse the applicator with micro-needles in moments after treatment, as it would no longer be sterile and could be vehicle of bacteria and cause infections.  

The topical spout applicator is definitely the safest option. Moreover, the passage of the active ingredients in the epidermis is guaranteed by the high molecular weight hyaluronic acid that acts as a carrier of the active substances.

Is the serum contained in B-SELFIE DEEP tested on animals?

NO. The safety of the final formulation, ingredients or combinations of ingredients used in B-SELFIE DEEP is ensured through alternative methods that do not involve the use of animals to conduct the tests. 

Can I use B-SELFIE DEEP for acne?

It is good to know that the treatment of acne in the active phase is a medical competence and that it is possible to carry out both medical and aesthetic treatments during the course of prevention, during drug treatment and in the post-acne phase. Depending on the present acneic relevance, with the help of your doctor you can determine whether to proceed to treatment with B-SELFIE DEEP.

As a general guideline, in cases where acne is in an active inflammatory phase with the presence of papules, pustules and cysts, it is not recommended to carry out treatment with B-SELFIE DEEP, as the treatment with intraepidermal vehicle requires the use of an applicator with micro-epidermal needles, which although sterile, could still be a source of infection transmission and further worsen the inflammatory state of the skin.

In cases of acne no longer active, in which you are only in the presence of post-acneic scars, the B-SELFIE DEEP treatment is even indicated as it has an action to improve the homogeneity of the complexion and the filling of scar depressions.

Is B-SELFIE DEEP suitable for sensitive skin?

B-SELFIE DEEP is a safe product that does not contain irritants. In the case of particularly sensitive skin it is possible to witness a temporary redness a little more persistent due to the use of the head with micro-needles. In this case, we recommend to apply at the end of the treatment and the next day the B-SELFIE INFINITY mask with a strong emollient and soothing action.

I suffer from atopic dermatitis, can I use B-SELFIE DEEP?

It is good to know that the treatment of dermatitis is of medical competence. As a general guideline, if you are in the presence of dermatitis in the active or acute phase, we recommend that you contact your doctor to evaluate whether to proceed to treatment with B-SELFIE DEEP. In the presence of inactive dermatitis, we found no side effects. High molecular weight hyaluronic acid, cross-linked hyaluronic acid, the cocktail of vitamins and amino acids contained within the formula, have moisturizing and regenerating properties that can bring benefit in these cases. A medical evaluation is however essential in these cases.

The topical application with plastic spout inside the package, however, has no contraindications.

B-SELFIE DEEP contains nickel?

The serum contained in the two predosate syringes does not contain nickel. The composition of the micro-needles that allow the penetration of the serum into the epidermis, has in itself a very small percentage of nickel; the same percentage contained in all the needles used in medicine internationally for sampling and administration. In addition, the micro-needle head being sterilized and hermetically sealed, any contamination with the other components inside the package is excluded.

What are B-SELFIE DEEP’s micro needles made of?

B-SELFIE DEEP head micro-needles are of SUS 304 stainless steel. This material is commonly used in the medical field for the manufacture of surgical instruments and test instruments, as well as in orthopedics, orthodontics and dentistry, because of its corrosion resistance, its correct bio-behaviorand a favorable bio-affinity. Among the components of SUS 304 stainless steel are activated carbon, amorphous silicon powder, colloidal manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, nickel element, nitrogen, chromium and iron. The micro-needles were subjected to several tests to assess their safety, including the cytotoxicity test based on the agar diffusion methodology which found that there is no toxic effect. The quantity of potentially toxic ions released is well below the maximum quantities declared within safe limits and the threshold value normally absorbed by the daily diet; Therefore, micro-needles do not pose a threat to health nor have a negative effect on the tissues of the face.

How much hyaluronic acid does B-SELFIE DEEP contain?

The main and best known function of hyaluronic acid is to bind to itself a huge number of water molecules. In cosmetics, hyaluronic acid is generally used in a concentration range between 0.1 and 2%, solubilizing it in the aqueous phase, even at high temperatures.

Concentrations higher than 2% give the system a viscosity that makes it difficult to escape from the bottle and the micro-needles on the sterile head. It is erroneously thought that high concentrations of this active substance are synonymous with greater effectiveness, however they would give the product a consistency not suitable for the delivery of the product.

In B-SELFIE DEEP the concentration of hyaluronic acid with high molecular weight and hyaluronic acid crosslinkate is about 0.3%, as the moisturizing action is also supported by other active ingredients, such as Vitamin C (3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid) and Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide), while other ingredients deal with nourishing the skin and produce a lifting, antioxidant, illuminating and stain-resistant action such as EGF or Epidermal Growth Factors (Sh- oligopeptide-1, Sh oligopeptide-2, Sh polypeptide-11, Sh polypeptide-5, Sh polypeptide-3, Sh oligopeptide-1, Sh polypeptide-1), S-Arachidonoyl/Linolenoyl Gluione, Biopeptithatmimetic Peptides (Acetyl Octade-3 and Copper Tripeptide-1), and a Cocktail of Amino Acids (Alanine, Serine, Proline).

Can I use B-SELFIE DEEP on the eye contour?

NO: B-SELFIE DEEP intraepidermal treatment is not indicated for the periocular area as the skin is very delicate and thin, and the length of the micro-needles is not suitable for that area of application. Otherwise, it is recommended to apply topically through the plastic spout inside the package.

Can it be used on other parts of the body?

NO: It is good to know that our epidermis has different thickness and different characteristics depending on the different areas of the body. Then use B-SELFIE DEEP by conveying the product through the head with micro-needles in parts of the body other than face, neck and décolleté, it may be unfit or even harmful. The B-SELFIE DEEP intraepidermal treatment has been specially developed to treat specific areas of the face, neck and décolleté.

When do I not have to carry out the intraepidermal treatment B- SELFIE DEEP?
